PostHeaderIcon The Socio-civic city fiest parade ended peacfully

A month after the bombing at Limketkai Center which killed 8 people and wounded 30 more, the city geared in celebrating the feast day of St. Augustine on Aug. 28. Thank God for His presence, the city  socio-civic fiesta parade ended peacefully. Although attendance of people on the streets watching the annual parade decreased, at least it was victorious and enjoyable. There were no usual float parade and ethnic-inspired street dancing hoopla but there were 14-ft representations of the city’s icons paraded along the city’s main streets which started at the Rodelsa Circle beside Cagayan de Oro River, and ended up at Limketkai Center.
