I posted last Tuesday that ” Pilipinas Got Talent” will hold it’s Cagayan de Oro City audition this June 15. I was wrong! Please accept my ignorance…. My son said it was yesterday. He’s currently studying at Liceo de Cagayan University (High school Department) and because the PGT was held at their school ( Rhodelsa Hall) , his classmates invited him to come with them. It was then I realized that I was wrong. I am so sorry for my forgetfulness. If only I knew it was yesterday, I should have brought my wife and kids with me for audition… hehehehehe I mean to see the show. I am not a fan of Kris Aquino or either of the judges… but for the sake of my CDO Blog, I should have been there!
As I have mentioned in my previous post, me and my wife together with some friends will be going to Singapore this first week of July. I was busy browsing for websites of hostels and hotels. Among those I selected were the following :
Newly built, Dorm Rate starts at S$12 and Private Room at S$50
Located at East Coast..near the beach and Orchard Road. Dorm rate starts @ S$20.00
Have you been to Singapore lately? What’s your recommended accommodation.
My friends have been asking me if our dear President Noynoy Aquino moved the June 12 Holiday to June 13 ( Why are they asking me? Am I close to P-noy? Lol!). Although I was still not able to search online on the status, I was sure it can no be moved to June 13. I remember a news report from Malacanang that not all Holidays can be moved before or after the exact date of celebration because there are celebrations which meant to stay on the exact day. And that includes June 12 … I believed it will lost its relevance if it will be moved.
All KAgay-anons will still be happy since July 15 is the City’s Charter Day.. so that means we have a day to relax and rest.
Cagayan de Oro City is now ready for the June 12 joint commemoration rites of the 113th anniversary of the declaration of the Philippine Independence , on June 14 for the 61sth anniversary of the declaration of Cagayan de Oro as a Chartered City and the 150th birth anniversary of Dr. Jose Rizal on June 19. A temporary stage was constructed at the Gaston Park for various programs and activities. I wish I could see a glimpse of the events and can take some pictures to post on this site.
